Job Description - Director of Channel Partners Sales CA
Fast paced, opportunistic, post missionary / pre-take off environment. Our
sweet spot vertical is financial services including large banking and insurance
accounts and targeting CIOs and IT decision makers. The candidate must be
highly versed in situation conversation required to relate to business decision
makers; has proven ability to rapidly assimilate high tech software products
& technology; can interact and sell effectively at all levels including
the senior level; must be solutions/ROI focused, application & usage oriented;
innate ability to sell to both logic and emotion.
This is a goal carrying position and is measured on the revenue produced.
This position will manage channel partners relationships to increase CIC
revenue by negotiating sales opportunities, implementing effective training
programs, qualified leads and campaigns built around CIC solutions. In addition,
this position requires working internally with CIC Sales Account Executives,
Technical Managers, and Senior Management to execute common objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for channel partner recruitment, management, education
and execution of demand creation programs.
- Manage partner sales pipeline on a weekly basis. Forecast all deals
being worked with partners and identify the opportunities, which are
partner only.
- Clearly communicate and agree on tasks with the sales account executives
for opportunities that are being jointly handled as well as the partner-managed
opportunities.
- Lead management to ensure status is tracked to closure of lead.
Review partners pipeline to shorten sales cycle on key opportunities.
- Communicate internally as to what is working and what is not to
ensure we strive to have best practices.
Qualifications
- Enterprise software experience is required and financial services
background is desirable.
- Minimum five plus years of channel management or business development
experience.
- Software sales experience in a solution/consultative selling environment
with software products that change and improve existing business processes
and practices
- Executive level selling skills including bearing presence, excellent
communication and relationship skills, team player able to win trust
and confidence, focus and drive a team effort
- Strategic thinker with ability to organize and execute at tactical
and strategic selling levels
- BS/BA degree in business, marketing or relevant technical field
highly desirable
