Sold to the large Enterprises and ISV's, our product offerings include eSignature technologies and architectures that leverage document and content management technologies. Our sweet spot vertical is Financial Services.

CIC is currently looking for a Solution Architect. Based in Redwood Shores, CA the successful candidate will provide technical sales support on our suite of electronic signature technologies to sales, channel partners and direct enterprise customers. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of Pre / Post- sales support. The proper candidate will be able to identify and address customer business and technical needs to help optimize and grow sales.

The candidate will support Product Management, Business Development and Marketing, Proposals, Account Management, Sales, and Systems Integration Partners. The Solution Architect is expected to be superb at articulating complex technical subject matter in a clear and concise manner with excellent presentation skills and be an active contributor to the sales team performing the following functions:

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting: Provide technical support for sales and business development on evolving CIC technologies and applications, providing the customer with details on product usage and applications
  • Proposal Activity: Respond to customers' requests for quotation with required product content and supporting documentation.
  • Activity Prioritization and Scheduling: Align Solution Architects, Support resources and business goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Presentations: In conjunction with sales and marketing, develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of CIC's products and general industry concepts that convey our unique value proposition.

This person should be familiar with SOA, Enterprise Content Management systems, electronic document automation, and workflow systems processes for both fat client and distributed applications. Additional consideration will be given for candidates that have experience with Adobe PDF based technologies, Java application servers, major databases, electronic and digital signature solutions, programming experience, and/or financial services industry expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred candidate will have 3 years of experience in either sales engineering or product management with a software development firm focused on channel relationships and direct enterprise accounts.
  • The candidate must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and should possess selling skills and knowledge of account development strategies
  • Candidate must be able to travel. International travel may be required.
