What installation issues are there with WriteSmart Pro or JotComplete on a CD?

• There is a problem with the installer on the CD-ROM that does not recognize the Palm Desktop. In this case, you will need to do the following:
  
  
  
  • Launch Windows Explorer or My Computer
  • Right click on the CD-ROM drives and select explore
  • Open the Apps folder
  • You will see the Jot.prc, WordComp.prc, and CICEnglish.prc files
  • Double left click on the Jot.prc file
  • A dialog screen with a list of files pops up asking you to confirm the addition of the program. Select OK
  • Close the Palm Quick Install screen.
  • Repeat the previous steps for the WordComp.prc and CICEnglish.prc file

How do I migrate my WordComplete custom dictionary?

• Do a search on your desktop computer for a file called "CICUserDict" and record its location on the computer. This is your custom dictionary file. Install this file using the Palm Desktop and Hotsync the file over.
