Routing and Viewing Drawings
Routing Drawings for Signatures
A drawing can be signed and routed to multiple users without invalidating any signatures as long as there are no changes to it after the first signature has been entered. However, all signature fields must be placed in the drawing prior to the first signature. A brief description of these steps is covered in the Overview on Creating a Drawing Containing Signatures section of this guide.
Viewing Drawings Containing Sign-it Signatures
If you send a signed drawing to someone who does not have Sign-it, the user can still view the signatures. Sign-it is not required to view signatures, but it is required to check for changes in a drawing and validate the signature(s).
CIC offers a Viewer version of Sign-it that allows users to view and validate Sign-it signatures in drawings. Contact CIC for additional information or to obtain a copy of the Viewer.
